TAGUTI Wire EDM Fixture is a kind of device used to quickly fix the workpiece and keep its position stable during processing. These fixtures are commonly used in electrical machining equipment such as Wire EDM and EDM Die Sinking. Wire cutting is achieved by utilizing the corrosion effect on the workpiece produced during pulse discharge between the brass wire (molybdenum wire) and the workpiece. During normal cutting, the brass wire (molybdenum wire) and the workpiece are in a non-contact state. There are no cutting forces. Therefore, the fixture of the workpiece during wire cutting processing generally only needs to consider the precise positioning of the workpiece.
Types
1-1 Electrode clamp: It is mainly used to fix the electrode during the electrical discharge machining process. Common electrode clamps include cylinder-shaped electrode clamps and flat electrode clamps.
1-2 Workpiece fixture: It is mainly used to clamp the workpiece to be processed and stabilize the workpiece. Common workpiece clamps include V-shaped workpiece clamps, flat workpiece clamps, and three-claw workpiece clamps.
1-3 Suction cup clamp: It is suitable for clamping all kinds of workpieces and special-shaped parts. It will not cause surface damage to the parts and can keep the parts flat, which is conducive to processing accuracy.
1-4 Pressure plate clamp: It is suitable for precision processing of special-shaped parts with holes. The clamping force is uniform and fixed firmly, which can prevent deformation of parts and other phenomena.
1-5 Manual fixture: It is mainly suitable for processing small batches and small parts. The clamp is mainly adjusted manually, which is easy to operate and low cost.
1-6 Support fixture: It is suitable for processing large workpieces. The main function is to support the material and keep it from deforming or shaking.

Structure
Electrical processing machine tool fixtures generally consist of the following three parts:
1. Clamp body: It is responsible for clamping the workpiece or electrode to be processed, and adjusting the clamping force by adjusting the structure of the clamp body.
2. Adjustment device: It is mainly used to adjust the structure of the clamp body and change the size and direction of the clamping force. Common clamp adjustment devices include manual adjustment, pneumatic adjustment and hydraulic adjustment.
